Light & Space

Two storeys of windows

Light pours through the double-height windows into the dining room, where garden doors open straight onto the terrace and a long table waits for shared meals.

The Living Spaces

Light, warmth & character

Timber floors, a tiled fireplace and forest views from every window — a home that feels welcoming and unmistakably Nordic.

Room to Gather

Easy evenings in

Sink into the sofas in front of a 55-inch smart TV paired with a fine Finnish Genelec sound system, beneath a wall of forest-facing windows.

The Finnish Ritual

Your own sauna

A Finnish home without a sauna would hardly be a home at all — heat the private sauna, let the steam rise, then cool off in the spa room's deep bathtub.

The Space
01

Ground floor — 120 m²

A living room, open kitchen, a laundry room, and 1.5 bathrooms. The heart of the home, where everyone gathers.

02

Upper floor — 100 m²

Four spacious bedrooms, the private sauna and spa room with bathtub, a toilet and a hallway — calm, light and restful.

03

The garden

A generous forest garden with a summer house, several terraces, a fire pit, a sandy play area, outdoor furniture and a barbecue.

About Us

A home built by a Finnish family

We are a Finnish family who built Villa Solhalla more than twenty years ago and made it our home. With over a decade of experience welcoming guests to our properties, we know what makes a stay feel effortless and warm.

We open our home to travellers and to film and photo productions during select seasons. We care deeply for this house, and we hope you'll love it as much as we do — and treat it as your own while you stay.

The villa has a balanced mechanical ventilation system, so the air inside is always fresh and comfortable, in every season.
